Hi, My name is Wendy Walburn. This is my 23rd year teaching in Denver Public Schools and my 3rd year at Garden Place Academy. I have taught at Kepner Middle School, Farrell B. Howell, and West High School. I have a deep passion for sharing my love for Music and Theatre with students to help them grow. I grew up in Lawrence Kansas. Then pursued my degrees in Music and Theatre. After graduating from the University of Kansas I worked professional theatre for five years while working with children’s theatre. When I am not teaching I enjoy singing in the choir, community theatre, and scrapbooking my family photos.
