Hello and welcome Garden Place Tigers! My name is Tawny Baldwin and I am a special education teacher. This is now my 14th year as a member of team DPS. I have worked in a variety of special education settings having taught in the Affective Needs Special Education center programming for 10 years as well as 1 year as a Multi-Intensive Special Education center programming. This is my second year teaching Mild/Moderate Special Education. Additionally, I have coached and trained soccer athletes across all youth ages.
When I am away from work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends as well as playing soccer and going to see live music/concerts. As a mother, my time is highly dedicated to my two children, Gavin who is 3 years old and Elena who is 6 months old. This past summer, my family and I spent time at our home gardening and with family and friends visiting. We also vacationed at our family’s lake house in New York.
I look forward to growing relationships with our Garden Place community!
