Hello! My name is Michelle López, and I have had the honor of serving the Denver community as a DPS teacher since 2007. I started as a paraprofessional at Bruce Randolph school in 2005, and since then, I have worked as a primary and intermediate grade level teacher and as a reading interventionist. I absolutely love fourth grade and believe wholeheartedly that is my job to prepare them as our future leaders. How grateful I am to teach in a community where my own family got started! My mother and aunts and uncles all went to Garden Place as children. It definitely is a special place that I am fortunate to be part of!
¡Hola! Mi nombre es Michelle López, y he tenido el honor de servirle a la comunidad de Denver como una maestra de DPS desde el 2007. Empecé como una asistente en la escuela Bruce Randolph en 2005, y desde entonces, he trabajado como una maestra de nivel primario e intermedio y como una intervencionista de lectura. Me encanta tanto el cuarto grado y creo con todo corazón que es mi trabajo prepararlos como nuestros futuros líderes. ¡Que agradecida me siento tener la oportunidad de trabajar en una comunidad donde mi propia familia tuvo su comienzo! Mi madre y mis tíos asistieron a la escuela Garden Place cuando eran niños. Es definitivamente un lugar especial y me siento muy afortunada de formar parte de este lugar.
