Welcome to our classroom!
I’m so excited to be part of the Garden Place Academy community and to work alongside such amazing students, families, and colleagues.
I have been an educator for over 15 years, teaching English and Spanish in elementary and middle school. I began my career in Argentina, where I taught English as a Foreign Language and served as Assistant Principal. I later worked as a translator, which deepened my love for language, communication, and connecting with people from all backgrounds.
For the past three years, I have taught Spanish in the U.S., and I am passionate about creating a classroom where every student feels valued, challenged, and supported. I believe in the power of literacy, critical thinking, and meaningful conversations to help students grow into confident, compassionate leaders.
In our classroom, students can expect a supportive and engaging environment where we work together, celebrate our progress, and build a strong community of learners. My goal is for every child to feel empowered to share their ideas, take risks, and reach their full potential.
A little about me
I live in Denver with my husband, Tomás, and our two daughters. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy reading, spending time outdoors, traveling, and discovering new coffee shops with my family.
I can’t wait for an incredible year of learning and growth together!
