Hello, my name is Dolores Maes-Gonzales. I have been an educator in DPS for 13 years and working with children for 20 years. This is my 5th year at Garden Place Academy, I love it here and teaching is my passion.
I am thankful for my experiences over the years, working with students and families, the joy teaching brings to me continues to grow with every year. This is my 5th year in ECE, previously I worked in a Primary Montessori Classroom for 8 years.
I attended Regis University, then continued my education at University of Colorado in Denver. During this time, I received my B.A. in Elementary Education K-6th, with a minor in Ethnic Studies.During my free time, I love to spend time with my husband and three daughters. I also enjoy being outdoors, playing tennis, basketball and visiting family!
I was born and raised in Denver, CO and I am a DPS Alumni!
