My name is Casey Spooner and this is my sixteenth year teaching at Garden Place Academy. After spending the majority of my career in 5th grade, I am starting my third year as the 4th grade ELA-E teacher. I have lived in Colorado for 20 years and feel very proud to be able to serve my community as a Denver Public Schools teacher. I am a graduate of Miami of Ohio University and the University of Colorado Denver campus where I earned my teaching licensure and my Masters Degree in Culturally and Linguistically Diverse Education. I speak enough Spanish to communicate, but could always use more practice! Go Tigers!
