Hi! I am thrilled to be the Literacy Content Lead and Interventionist at Garden Place Academy!!! This is my 8th year working at GPA. In my time here, I have served as a classroom teacher, Dean of Instruction, and literacy interventionist. Prior to moving to Colorado, I was a multi-age first and second grade classroom teacher in Wisconsin for several years. I attended college in Minnesota where I received my Master’s of Education degree from the University of Minnesota - Twin Cities. It is an honor to serve the students and teachers at Garden Place. I consider it to be my second home! When I am not here at school, however, I love hanging out with my family. I enjoy spending time with my husband of 16 years (Scott), my 10 year old daughter (Harper), 2 year old daughter (Eyla), chocolate lab puppy (Stella), and crazy kitty (Aspen). We love to go camping, play outside together, go for hikes, and have family movie nights!
